Any size rule slide attachment

Use customizer to tailor fit any size requirement. This tool can measure the distance between two random points such as picture frames, extension cords, and towel bars, and transfer the hole centers to the wall for drilling purposes. It also functions as a height gauge or comparison device. Please note that when using it as a height gauge, ensure your rule's graduations start from the datum edge, not like a ruler which begins slightly in from the datum edge - a key distinction between a "rule" and a "ruler". Another use is as a "L Square" drawing aid to draw parallel lines or read data from tables. The fit needs to be an interference fit with your rule for optimal performance. I recommend printing this vertically, just like the STL file demonstrates. This quick print item requires a test print by stopping the process a couple of millimeters in height and testing the slide fit with your rule. Adjust the parameters in OpenSCAD or customizer as needed, then reprint until you achieve a nice sliding fit that grips the rule securely without any wobble. I hope you like this design as it will fit any size rule and is fully customizable - feel free to reach out if you need help. Possible improvements include adding an extra feature to turn it into a "T Square" instead of an "L square", or printing a base to hold it vertically like a height gauge, allowing you to attach a digital caliper to it.
