This pull chain knob, handle, finial, fob is created for use with standard #6 (3.2mm) ball chain. It also works well with smaller chain as long as you attach a #6 metal connector. YOU WILL LIKELY NEED SUPPORTS FOR THIS TO AVOID IT COLLAPSING. The photo shown is from the great design by harddrv1. To assemble this, feed the chain through the top of the print and connect it to a standard #6 connector. If using a ball chain and metal connector, you can form a loop around a keyring and attach the other end of the connector to it. If you don't have a metal connector, you can download the BALL-CONNECTOR.stl file I've included for printing. NOTE: if printed in PLA, the connector is a tight fit. Place the chain on a hard surface, position the connector over the last ball of the chain and press down until it snaps into place. You may also use string with a large knot tied in the end. I usually print objects with 10% infill - HOWEVER, if used as a ceiling fan pull chain, you may want to use higher infill for added weight. I have designed hundreds of remixes.
