These are the essential files for constructing the 1 pound plastic fighting machine called "Plastique". I will provide full parts lists and detailed instructions soon, but I thought the components would be of interest initially. The only video I could find featuring this robot emerging victorious (it rarely wins, it often ends up in a stalemate) is available at https://youtu.be/5kx_2t19lqg Drive motors: N20 50:1 (or similar) x2 can be found at https://hobbyking.com/en_us/brushed-motor-15mm-6v-20000kv-w-50-1-ratio-gearbox.html?wrh_pdp=2 Tires: Small, wide Lego tires are needed. A photo is included. A Hobby King "Donkey" brushless motor is required for the weapon. An example can be found at https://hobbyking.com/en_us/hobbyking-donkey-st3511-810kv-brushless-power-system-combo.html I have used an assortment of small brushed motor ESCs for drive and brushless ESCs for the weapon. Any standard small combat robot ESCs will suffice, with smaller being better. You'll need an assortment of 4-40 nuts and bolts, at least 15cm of 6mm steel (or equivalent) rod, two 6mm ID shaft collars (one for the top and one for the bottom), a small Receiver requiring three channels (two for drive and one for weapon), one light duty spring approximately 1" in diameter, and one 1" foam (or other material) tire for the weapon drive. The shell draws a considerable amount of current when spinning up, so a larger battery is advisable. No less than 250mah is required for a three-minute battle.
