Antweight Undercutter Combat Robot
thingiverse
This is an antweight combat robot I designed and used for 2021 and a small part of 2022. It's a nasty undercutter with a 26-15 fight record and one event win. I've got a playlist of it's fights here https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLTTxrt8MMhOsP3Cl9hHebyFHgNjZq_PcN. PARTS LIST The inside of this is basically a FingerTech Viper BATTERY Galaxy 3s. I used the 450mah but it can run on 300mah if you need a little bit of extra weight for a modification. https://www.fingertechrobotics.com/proddetail.php?prod=G-3S-mAh DRIVE FingerTech Silver Sparks (either 33.3:1 or 22.2:1) https://www.fingertechrobotics.com/proddetail.php?prod=ft-Sspark16 FingerTech TinyEsc https://www.fingertechrobotics.com/proddetail.php?prod=ft-tinyESCv2 FingeTech Twist Hubs (3mm Shaft with 0.75in wide) https://www.fingertechrobotics.com/proddetail.php?prod=ft-twist-hubs FingerTech Foam wheels 2.25in x 0.75in https://www.fingertechrobotics.com/proddetail.php?prod=ft-foam-wheels WEAPON D2822/17 (MAKE SURE YOU GET THE 4MM SHAFT VERSION) https://www.fingertechrobotics.com/proddetail.php?prod=F2822-17-4mm BL-Heli 20A Brushless Speed Controller https://www.fingertechrobotics.com/proddetail.php?prod=BL20A FingerTech Blade Mount https://www.fingertechrobotics.com/proddetail.php?prod=ft-blade-mount If you live in the US you can find all of the above listed parts at https://itgresa.com/ or https://palmbeachbots.com/. Both are official distributors for FingerTech and amazing sponsors of combat robotics. HARDWARE 6-32 1-1/8in socket head screws. These screws go through the main body and sandwich everything together. https://www.mcmaster.com/91251A870/ 6-32 1/4in wide hex nuts. For securing the above screws. https://www.mcmaster.com/90760A170/ 6-32 1/8in set screw. For the FingerTech Blade Mount as an additional fastener, recommended but not necessary https://www.mcmaster.com/91375A142/ 6-32 1/4in flanged button head screw. For securing the disc/blade to the mount https://www.mcmaster.com/91355A159/ M2 x 0.40mm 12mm 90° countersunk. Replace the screws that come with the FingerTech blade mount with these for a much stronger mount, highly recommended but not necessary. https://www.mcmaster.com/91294A009/ M3 x 0.50mm 8mm. For Securing the weapon motor to the CF top plate. https://www.mcmaster.com/92137A250/ You can swap all of the black oxide fasteners with another material. I just liked the look of them. The disc/bar, CF top plate, and the weapon washer will have to made at https://sendcutsend.com/. The weapons are 3mm thick, top plate and washer are 2mm. You can go with a 3mm CF top plate for extra strength but I find it doesn't matter a whole lot. If you do go with 3mm you will most likely need to get 1-1/4in screws to sandwich everything together rather than the 1-1/8in ones I have listed. The washer is just to add a couple millimeters between the weapon and the chassis so you hit yourself less on deflections. It also helps the weapon run along the floor. The washer is 6061 aluminum and the weapons are AR500. Comment with any questions and I will do my best to help you.
