I'll be releasing several models from my Patreon service throughout this year, showcasing just a small sampling of what's possible (no pun intended!). If you're interested in busts, figures, props, cosplay (full suits, helmets and more), or complex sci-fi dioramas, consider supporting us on Patreon! It was a super easy project - all you need is a $5 sewing kit, print out a little figure, and see how it goes. You might have better luck than I did! The FDM print quality wasn't great, so I opted for SLA instead. If you've got a high-res printer, I'd love to see what's possible at this scale. The movie-scale prop was even smaller, coming in at 2.6cm tall. However, as you can see from the finished props above, 3cm is a very close fit to the screen version without being ridiculously small. This model was designed specifically for printing at 3cm, but you can easily upscale it if needed. Keep in mind that it wasn't detailed with massive prints in mind - just a quick print to convert a $2-5 sewing kit into a functioning prop. I ended up using pink/blue kits and Plasti-dipped them in matte black since I couldn't find cheap black ones. A small dab of super glue on the back stuck him to the inside, and that was it!
