I didn't require a tall speaker stand on my workspace, so I opted for a single base and created some spacers. From Amazon, I acquired some 1.25 inch rubber pads that I'm quite pleased with so far. While they may not improve the speakers' sound quality - which I highly doubt - they have eliminated any resonances from my desk altogether.
