Antisthenes
myminifactory
Antisthenes, born approximately 445 BC, and died roughly 365 BC, was a Greek philosopher from Athens who studied under Socrates. He is widely regarded as the founder of the Cynic school of philosophy, although Diogenes of Sinope often receives this credit. A sculpture of Antisthenes can be seen at the Antike am Königsplatz in Munich, which showcases Bavaria's extensive collections of antiquities from Greece, Etruria, and Rome. The museum's impressive sculpture collection is housed in a separate building, the Glyptothek, and features works created within Bavaria. A dedicated museum also displays ancient Egyptian artifacts. This object is part of the "Scan The World" initiative, a non-profit project launched by MyMiniFactory.
