My design replaces the original dowel and gear found in antique Victrola record players, improving their functionality. The springs attach to the dowel, while the gear on the opposite end winds them up tightly. Threaded holes at both ends allow for secure fastening with a nut and enable easy addition of a handle for effortless operation.
