Based on sthone's top-notch water pump design, I made significant modifications to suit my project's requirements. I wanted to integrate this pump into a custom-built wooden trough featuring an inserted PVC bucket. To accomplish this, I downsized all the components by 80% of their original size. First, I created a new pump foot with a flange to securely attach it to the trough using SPAX screws. Since I opted for a more streamlined setup, I eliminated the filter parts from the original design and replaced them with a FESTO tube fitting in the Body Spout part. This fitting is connected via an 8mm tube to a fountain pump installed in the bucket. To give the pump a sleek appearance, I painted it with metallic-silver and black acrylic hobby colors.
