An antibody, or immunoglobulin (Ig), is a protein produced by B cells for immune system functions. The model of this complex features fragments of a mouse IGG Fab antibody's heavy chain (orange) and light chain (blue), along with the antigen, hen egg-white lysozyme (green). It is based on Protein Data Bank entry 1YQV and created using VMD. Successfully printed by a Replicator 2 in PLA using MakerWare 2.2.2.89 with standard resolution (2 shells, 10% infill), raft, and supports. The models can be printed separately in different colors; in the pictures, heavy chain is orange, light chain blue, and lysozyme green.
