To retrieve textures from a .skp 3D model created with SketchUp 8, first ensure that it's been converted to various formats. If you possess specific software, follow these steps: export as a 2D image using File/Export/2d Graphic in SketchUp (free); import the file into C4D for automatic texture folder generation; or, in 3ds Max, locate textures within the ..3dsMaxsceneassetsimages directory. For Rhinoceros 3D users, open the Material Editor and select a material with a texture.
