This design effectively eliminates the vibrations of the Z axis produced by the extruder carriage. Moderate improvements in the quality of printed pieces will be achieved, and also the noise generated when printing on very specific occasions will be reduced (for example when the carriage moves at a high speed). It is designed for 608ZZ ball bearings (8mm inner Ø x 22mm outer Ø x 7mm high). I purchased 10 units for 2 euros on Aliexpress. I created this design as compact as possible to avoid losing height in our printing area. I've designed it with FreeCAD 0.17 It has 9mm height, while the most widespread design throughout the internet has 20mm, so with this design we recover 11mm in height in our printing area. Similarly, it reduces printing time by a 25%. In the last images you can see the difference of space occupied by the most popular design of the piece and my design.
