In that case, you should consider securing the z-axis with a bearing if you're not using a fixed leadscrew. I've reworked the z-motor component to fit snugly around a 608 flanged bearing. The diameter is compatible with an 8mm lead screw, and it's designed to be mounted directly onto 3030 extrusion profiles. Check out the pictures for step-by-step mounting instructions. Enjoy, Peter.
