Anti Z Wobble for Anet A8
thingiverse
I built this device in no time. Next, I planned to make some changes, but it's been half a year and it works flawlessly, so I've decided not to touch anything. The bearing is 608ZZ. We print smoothly with excellent resolution and precision. It pairs perfectly with this thing http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1858459. I'm printing in ABS. ABS has shrinkage issues. In other materials, the bearing can be free from landing. A heavy landing on the bearing isn't needed. If it's really bad, use a drop of glue (PLA), or dissolve some plastic in acetone (ABS). Don't bother with super glue or strong adhesive. November 21, 2016. I bought new screws and installed them. The screws are top-notch quality. I removed the anti-wobble system and the upper bearing. Before and after printing test blocks (AVS label with anti-wobble system and old screws). The printer prints cleaner with new screws, but small waves on the Z-axis are visible. Irregularities feel even stronger to the touch. Most likely, I'll go back to the previous setup, but with the new screws. Result shown in the picture. December 19, 2016. I added a photo of a similar device installed on my old 3D printer (PRUSA i2). It's been working for four years already. This is the basis of my concept. April 7, 2017. The file has been updated.
