If you want to use these pieces, I recommend printing also these other parts created by DAL:\nAnti wooble upper adaptable : http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1240175\nguidance high threaded rod : http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1260449\nAs well as this one : http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1738716\nThis piece replaces the official anti-wobbles of the Dagoma Discovery 200, which were too flexible and had too much play to my liking:\nThe official plate is not flat, so the four points of the palpeurs realign a theoretical impression plane... and this translates into back-and-forth movements on the Z-axis during each layer's impression. These back-and-forths are transmitted in Z by these anti-wobbles.\nThese new pieces are stiffer and allow for adjusting the fork spacing.\nConfiguration A: (see the first two photos): The fork spacing is adjustable (M3 screw length 16 mm + nut). In this config, I initially placed M8 washers between these anti-wooble and the Z-carriage, and then adjusted the fork spacing by leaving enough clearance to avoid creating too much friction.\nAfter several tests, I found that using the washers was not a good option because they would sometimes slide horizontally and thus rub against the Z-rod, generating friction... so I removed them and since then everything has been great...\nConfiguration B (see the last two photos): Or else these same holes can be used to pass flexible rods in order to press the forks against the X-carriage.\nThe Configuration A satisfies me entirely today (less play, less wobble, less noise).\nPrinting: layer "finish" of 0.1 mm, infill 30%\nPrint Settings\nPrinter:\n Dagoma Discovery 200\n \n Rafts:\n No\n \n Supports:\n No\n \n Resolution:\n 0.1\n \n Infill:\n 30%\n\nHow I Designed This\nMade on Solidworks with the help of NetFabb Basic\n I measured the original STL file from Dagoma with NetFabb Basic, then I made a new design with Solidworks
