However, what I really needed was a design that would fit snugly in the center of my printer's contact area, since it stands very close to the edge of my furniture. I'm happy to report that this project has worked wonders for me - it has eliminated plenty of vibrations, significantly reduced ghosting, and the noise reduction is truly impressive.
