Anti-vibration feet for GEEETech i3 Pro B with 8mm acrylic frame
thingiverse
I was noticing that many people were using vibration dampening feet, or placing foam under their printers, or other methods of silencing their printer. I have taken the designs of Bernbout and kb3lnn and combined them so I can easily add vibration dampening feet to my GEEETech i3 Pro B without making any modifications to it to actually mount something underneath. These feet together with decoupler rings for the stepper make my printer very quiet. The only sound coming from the printer now are the noises from the fans. Try out the new V2 of this design. If you don't have a printer, contact me on my Etsy store and I'll be happy to print it for you: https://www.etsy.com/shop/XDr4g0nX3DPrinting Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: GEEETech i3 Pro B Rafts: No Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.2mm layer height Infill: 15% Notes: Print everything once, except for the parts for the front, those are indicated with "Anti-Vibration Feet - Damper/Feet - FrontLR.stl". These need to be printed two times each, as the front parts are identical and are just mounted the other way around. Post-Printing: Use a M4x6mm nut and M4 bolt to fasten the feet together with the damper. Then just slide the part under the correct corners and you're done.
