Anti Vibration Double Z Axis
prusaprinters
The double Z-axis was realized using a single stepper motor. the power transmission takes place by means of a closed GT2 toothed belt (Fig.: (A, 2)), which is connected via two toothed pulleys (Fig.: (1)) driving the trapezoidal threaded rods (Fig.: (4)). The stepper motor is installed in the center of the crossbar of the 2020 aluminum profile. To dissipate the accumulated heat of the motor, metal brackets are used for attachment (Fig.: (7)). As illustrated in Fig. (C), the construct allows tensioning of the toothed belt. The toothed belt pulley Ø 37.9 mm is connected to the trapezoidal thread on the non-driven side. bound (Fig.: (B)). The trapezoidal thread is combined using a Z809 ball bearing with a 3D printed bracket. Ring magnets with opposite polarization are used as recoil dampers in this construction (Fig.: (B, 5)). Here is the top ring magnet embedded in the frame holder and the lower ring magnet attached to the trapezoidal thread. Both permanent magnets are thus pushed together so that a mechanically repelling tension is created, in which of these these are xed. In addition, the dual Z-axis was combined with frame holders (Fig.: (A, 8)) to provide additional stiffness.
