Anti-Vibration Dampening for Foxtech Horyzon HD v3 camera (or similar) for use on Spyda 500 Quad
thingiverse
Intended for the Spyda 500's front, this generic anti-vibration mount accommodates a Foxtech HoryzonHD v3 camera. However, dampening is crucial to eliminate jello in video footage. The camera mount is fastened to the top plate, and ear-plugs (shock absorbers) are used to reduce vibration. A clamp can be utilized if there's no screw holes, with a triangular formation of computer screws through unused bottom plate holes for stability. Ensure that the mount doesn't touch the Spyda 500's body during flight by keeping a distance of at least 1/8 inch from armatures. A version 2 is in progress, featuring a tilt servo and no pan (to save a channel). Special thanks to SheX for providing the Horyzon mount, which performs exceptionally well.
