This is an adaptable anti-vibration baseplate designed specifically for the Spyda 500. As I've been utilizing the Foxtech HorizonHD v3 camera with excellent results, I realized that a vibration-dampening solution was crucial to produce high-quality video footage. To achieve this, I simply screwed the camera mount to the top plate and used customized shock-absorbing plugs to suppress jello effects in my videos. This ingenious solution yields outstanding performance. As it turns out, there are no screw holes on the baseplate itself, so I resorted to employing a clamp for mounting purposes. By drilling through unused holes on the bottom plate, I positioned three computer screws in a stable triangular formation to maintain stability and balance. When installing the baseplate onto the Spyda 500, remember not to secure it too closely against the drone's body as this could potentially lead to unwanted contact during flight operations. Instead, maintain at least a 1/8 inch gap or more between the top plate and the armatures for smooth, hassle-free flight. Currently, I'm busy refining an upgraded version of the baseplate with an incorporated servo for precise tilt adjustments. By leveraging just this single channel for panning eliminates unnecessary complexity while focusing on producing excellent aerial footage without sacrificing critical camera movements.
