anti tilt follower for Stribog intake stick
thingiverse
29-mar-2022 This is my 12 iteration and it feeds. This is to reduce binding in the stick mags due to follower tilt. LRBHO is not working. The channel in the mags is too thing and narrow to reliably contact the bolt catch because the mag can tilt in the lower. The real issue here, is the stock design. The bolt catch sits too far back to be engaged. So to overcome this issue the LRBHO tab on the stock follower is a wedge shape and extends toward the FCG further than the channel in the mag body allows. This work because the followers tilts forward to allow the wedge to line up with the mag body channel. This anti tilt follower doesn't tilt, so the current dimensions don't allow the tab to contact the bolt catch if the mag is tilted FWD. The true remedy now is to weld extra material on the bolt catch. If someone has an alternative LMK. If I decide to try something else I will update. Print this standing straight up and down. I found that helps prevent the lips near the top of the mag from catch on layer lines.
