When rotating the telescope for a comfortable eyepiece position, it tends to slide axially, which brings it out of balance. These rings get clamped directly on the tube to prevent this issue. Designed for 160 mm tube outer diameters, I attached a strip of cardboard inside using double-sided tape to achieve a gentle yet firm grip.
