A bike accessory for hassle-free cycling in all road conditions, especially during rainy weather, is the focus of a GrabCad challenge that I found enjoyable and helpful. While riding in the rain, I experienced difficulties with my bike pedals causing my feet to slip off, resulting in discomfort. To address this issue, I designed an Anti-Skid Pedal Support system made from materials like plastic, wood, or other durable options coated with rubber for added grip. This accessory is easily attached to the existing pedals and can be adapted to fit various models without adding unnecessary weight. The key feature of my design is a flexible component that secures the pedal in place, ensuring safe and comfortable sculling during rainy commutes. The Solidworks file (.SLDPRT) showcases the complete model for those interested in implementing this practical solution.
