When the army of ghosts first started attacking, nobody knew yet that direct contact would cause the spiritual body to separate from the physical one. Luckily, doctors quickly figured out that completely wrapping a ghost in bandages soaked in holy water would stop this process. Because of how often this happened, regular doctors had to carry more than ten rolls of bandage and over a liter of holy water in their jackets. However, ghosts mostly killed people with fear, which made them unable to handle the strain on their heart. That's when the "Field Defibrillator-1" came into play. Yes, it was bulky and heavy, but it was indispensable in tough situations.\n\nP.S. Yeah, I love coming up with weird stories.
