Anti-Gas Kettle
thingiverse
This is a device designed to neutralize tear-gas projectiles, effectively rendering them harmless, when combined with hand towels and disposable water bottles as part of a comprehensive safety protocol. It's essential to note that this device does not provide immediate protection for the user; instead, it must be used in conjunction with specialized safety gear, including a gas mask, protective eyewear, and clothing that shields the skin from potential hazards. The downloadable file contains three models. A .PLY file displays both objects together, but please do not attempt to print this version. The two separate .STL files are designed to connect when printed, reducing overall printing time by allowing for parallel processing. When printed individually on an Ender 3 at low quality with 10% infill, the process saves approximately 10 hours of printing time, resulting in a total print duration of 22 hours. All designs were created using SolidWorks. Updates will be made available once all prints are complete and videos documenting their effectiveness are posted to my Twitter account @DoghouseCorgian. This device remains free and accessible under Creative Commons licensing because individuals have the right to defend themselves against chemical warfare agents.
