Dew prevention shield for SVBONY SV106 60mm Guide Scope. It works on the principle of multiple shades with a high L/D ratio - higher surface area per volume, shading heat emission, limiting air convection, so it minimizes the chance of lens to get dew. The walls are curved to avoid the formation of bright diffraction spikes on stars. I'd used lens hoods of similar design for astrophotography in the very harsh conditions of the Russian winter, and they did an excellent job of protecting the guide from dew and frost. This design approach is not fully suitable for a main telescope because the partitions create unwanted diffraction scattering (totally tolerable for finder or guider scope). This one fits fine inside conical metallic shade of SVBONY SV106. Feel free to adopt for other guider scopes. Note! Turn on "Print Thin Walls" (Cura) options or it's analogue.
