Anti-Ant Pet Food Bowl Stand

A pet food bowl stand designed to keep ants out of pet food is now available. It also features a "cover-up" design that prevents pets from drinking water and food from getting into the water. The STL files supplied are sized for a 108mm (4.25") outer-diameter stainless steel pet food bowl with a 3mm lip. Users can scale them in their slicer to support any different size they need. No tools are required for assembly. The parts simply sit on top of each other and come apart for cleaning. The bottom base bowl is filled with tap water during use. The inner framework sits in the bottom bowl and holds up the top cover. The top cover holds the pet food bowl and covers everything underneath. This design has been working great for several months now. Occasionally, an ant would succeed in swimming across the water and climbing up to the food. The easy solution is a small drop of liquid dish soap in the water, which breaks the water's surface tension. This prevents ants from succeeding altogether.
