Electric linear actuators are able to generate very high thrusts (up to 1500N).They are available at variable costs between 25 and 100 €.The ability of the movable shaft to resist bending moment must be evaluated.Compared to classic servomotors they should guarantee greater precision and a very low backslash.In the model I used two actuators with 100mm stroke.
