Anthromod Hand V2.0 Draft
thingiverse
So I'm revamping my Anthromod hand design for version 2.0. This new design will be fully parametric, allowing you to adjust almost every aspect of it and still have it function properly. My focus has been on perfecting the fingers, and while they're making progress, they still require some tweaking in terms of tensioning elastic at each joint. The palm and thumb are proving to be more challenging, as I want this design to offer an extra degree of freedom that Anthromod 1 lacked. To enhance grip capabilities, I'm also incorporating lateral flex into the knuckles. Before releasing the final product, the design needs a thorough cleaning up, especially in terms of the 'back end' functionality. As I prioritize the parametric aspect, I won't be satisfied until it works seamlessly alongside its visually appealing interface. Additionally, I want to ensure that this new design is compatible with E-nable type prosthetics, which means incorporating those specifications into my design process as well.
