Antennarius fish, or frogfish, anglerfish, or angler, is an intricately designed 3D model featuring an asymmetrical mesh and textures, specifically crafted for close-up views and animations. With interchangeable and customizable textures, you can create a variety of finishes by combining them. The model comes with sponges and background included, as well as the option to purchase a rig separately. Measuring 20.3 cm x 44.0 cm x 21.5 cm in size, the file units are in centimeters, with real-world scale set at (1,1,1) and focused on the origin. The model consists of two objects with a mesh manifold each - antennarius and sponge. The topology is subdividable, featuring 100% quads: 12,624 quads for the antennarius and 906 for the sponge. It boasts clean edge flow, no isolated vertices, no coincident vertices, no coincident/coplanar faces, no faces intersected, no distorted faces over 45 degrees, and no loss of geometry with a maximum of five edges per pole. UV mapping is done without overlapping, and all images are asymmetrical at 4096x4096 px resolution. The yellow textures are hand-painted originals, while the pink ones are based on this image: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Frogfish_ocellated.jpg. There are four interchangeable and combinable materials for the antennarius with seventeen textures in total (three optional), and two materials with eight textures (two optional) for the sponge. The ground and background come with their own unique materials, each with a texture. Optional textures are available in an additional .zip file. The FBX file is exported from Blender 2.78 (-Z Forward, Y Up), which may require some adjustment upon import (textures). All renders showcasing the model were created using Blender's internal engine without post-production.
