Antenna Mount | FPV Antenna | Receiver Antenna | Martian 2
thingiverse
After modifying my Martian 2 to a sleek lowrider, I required an effective way to secure my FPV and RX antennas in place. Since I'm meticulous about maintaining clean builds, zipties wouldn't suffice for this particular project, so I created this TPU mount from scratch. Its design features a hole that allows you to screw your VTX pigtail directly into it or simply push the antenna through, depending on your preference. Additionally, I included two small holes for the RX antennas - one parallel to the ground and another at about a 45-degree angle. This configuration serves as a guide to help optimize signal reception by positioning the antennas at optimal angles. Ideally, they should be angled 90 degrees apart from each other; after running the antenna through the heatshrink, you can easily bend the top one up to achieve this. The mount measures only 20mm tall and 32mm wide, making it perfect for my lowrider setup, but it will slide smoothly over standard 5mm standoffs on any vehicle configuration.
