Antenna Mount Ed Fong PVC to Ettore

This is an Antenna Mount I sketched and printed to hold an Ed Fong DBJ-220 antenna centered above a four-section REA-C-H Extension Pole from Ettore. This design is intended for use in a 'grab-and-go' kit, featuring a clamshell design held together with two zip ties and a couple of wraps of electrical tape. The result makes for quick and easy deployment at Field Day events, event support, or camp operations. A 25-foot run of coax is attached to the antenna and mount, always ready to go and easily popped onto the extension pole. Several members of my amateur radio club enjoy these antennas, often permanently mounting them at their homes. My particular antenna is the 220 Kit, but this design should fit any kits designed for the PVC specified by Ed Fong. I am using a 12-foot pole that stands upright in a repurposed patio umbrella base. Upon building my Antenna Mount, I found it to be a close fit, allowing just enough room for the connector and coax. The STLs provided here are slightly longer in the middle than those pictured to accommodate any potential size variations of connectors or coax. RG-8X is an ideal choice for this application, similar options should also work well. This Antenna Mount was printed using PETG for added durability, but most filaments should be suitable.
