This adapter enables direct attachment of an Elecraft T1 antenna tuner to a portable mast, such as a squid pole. By placing the tuner at the feedpoint of a vertical antenna, lossy feedlines can be avoided and the radiator wire doesn't need to be led down to the ground. **Assembly:** Insert an elastic band through one hole and tie a knot on the other end. The distance between holes and knot depends on the diameter of your smallest mast. **Use:** Remove the ground/counterpoise knurled nut from the top of the T1 tuner, attach the mount, and fasten the ground/counterpoise knurled nut again. Be careful not to loosen the simple nut below the knurled nut, as you'll need to open the enclosure to tighten it. When attaching the T1 to your mast, pull the rubber band around the rear of the mast and let it slide into the mount's right side. Adjust the position to fit your mast's diameter. Some masts have a smooth surface that makes mounting unreliable. Use regular rubber bands or apply liquid rubber to the surface for better grip. Enjoy operating and see you on the air!
