Antec - LANBoy Air - PC Case Feet
thingiverse
I designed custom rubber feet for my Antec LANBoy Air PC case, as the original ones were too short to provide adequate airflow to the PSU intake at the bottom of the case. To address this issue, I created these new feet that match the styling of the Antec LBA case. These custom feet stand approximately 40mm tall, ensuring ample clearance on carpeted floors without obstructing airflow to the PSU inlet. By increasing the height, I enabled better air circulation and improved overall system performance. In addition, I removed the two middle feet from the original package, replacing them with four new feet that provide a larger surface area for contact. This change enhances stability and prevents the case from slipping or sliding on flat surfaces. Future revisions are planned to further improve these custom feet. The first revision will optimize material usage while maintaining structural integrity. The second revision will add SD card slots to the front feet, allowing for easy storage and convenient access to frequently used SD cards. I also remembered that I want to incorporate a recess into the bottom of the design to accommodate a rubberized disk, providing traction on smooth surfaces and preventing slipping or movement.
