Six convincing Antarctic animals come to life. Species: Jackass (both adult and chick), Magellanic, Gentoo, an albatross, and a petrel are modeled with high-resolution, uncompressed texture files in .tif format. Note the organized layout and transparency of the scene from the previous thumbnail image. These textures seamlessly integrate with scanline and mental ray renders. Each animal was created in 3ds max 2009 using precise mesh modeling to ensure a clean surface for potential rigging.
