ANT-TOWER Maxibase

This is a model of an anthill to evolve as the colony grows. No need to print a cover to keep it dark as each floor covers the one below! The colony remains visible through an ingenious 90° rotation system The axis of rotation has a staircase imagined so that ants cannot be injured during rotation, even a queen thanks to a minimum "headroom" of 3mm in the "open" position. This model is a single base for an ANT-TOWER ant farm. It Contains its own hunting area and a water supply. It is presented in the form of a classic base on which is attached a second part all in height. The whole has many storage areas spread over several levels. The access to the hunting area is done by the bottom via a small tunnel containing a staircase. The area on the left contains three large openings making visible the interior consisting of pillars and arches. The base has a 9mm diameter connector to connect it to either the colony delivery test tube or another Ant-tower. The connector has a latch system to hold it in the open or closed position. Slots are provided to place 2mm thick plexi plates. Printable cutting guides are provided for the two horizontal plates. A rectangular plate of 70 x 27 x 2mm in plexiglass must also be made and comes to be placed vertically at the level of the openings of the left area. This base must be topped with other ANT-TOWER floors or an ANT-TOWER hunting area. Feel free to check out the other models in the collection. It contains other floors, hunting areas, bases and many accessories.
