Ant Outworld
thingiverse
I created this outworld because I couldn't find many 3D designs that printed quickly, so I designed one using acrylic, which is extremely affordable. To build this outworld, you'll need only an A4 sheet of 2mm thick material, cut into four rectangles - wider than tall to maximize space - and then hot-glued together for a watertight seal and ant-proof barrier. The lid attaches with blue tack, making it easy to remove for cleaning if needed. It also requires a small acrylic piece, approximately 10x10mm, which I used spare material for; the design accommodates 3mm thickness, but feel free to adjust the dimensions if you prefer a thinner model. Once built, the lid operates smoothly with minimal vibration and is far easier to use than traditional lids, making it ideal.
