This small nest is perfect for starting a colony and will be perfect for a small species coming out of its test tube. I kept the glass format in 15x10 (economy photo frame). It is easy to humidify because everything is integrated, there is no need to add a tank or stone mushroom. Eventually, it is possible to add cotton in the tank, but it is not a requirement. This nest has two side holes to allow, with the help of 9mm tube, to connect a test tube, another nest, or a hunting area... 3D printing doesn't necessarily give watertight tanks, it depends on the plastic used but especially on the printing parameters. I therefore advise you to put a layer of varnish for example on the whole surface of the tank walls to ensure this tightness. This model is almost identical to the 21x12 nest, but it is oriented differently and thus offers a slightly more compact size of 17x 14. This will allow printing on a 20x20 platen, which corresponds to a large majority of printers.
