Ant Hex Coil

This is a coil designed to push ants to travel the maximum distance possible to reach their food while fitting snugly within a medium-sized formicarium. If you have an ant colony large enough, you should be able to see them form a trail along the coil's twist and turns. It consists of a base, a top platform, and multiple "ribs" which make up the main part of the coil's spiral structure. The more ribs you add, the taller the coil will rise. There is also a detachable hexagon piece that fits perfectly within the top platform and a 12-gauge aluminum wire that supports the entire coil from beneath.
