I've been working on creating an expandable ant founding chamber, a crucial element in connecting the nest to the test tube where the ants reside for observation. To achieve this, I simply cut a 10mm tube and utilized it to connect the nest to the test tube housing the ants. For the screen component, I opted for pre-made acrylic pieces as an initial solution. However, I've also employed laminated sheets, which I carefully cut to size and either adhered with glue or secured temporarily using blue tack - a cost-effective approach that yields satisfactory results.
