Ant Farm
thingiverse
UPDATE: Secured side components for a snug tube fit. Build an ant colony with adaptable walls featuring grid patterns. You'll require two 2mm-thick acrylic sheets measuring 160mm by 160mm. Tube openings accommodate tubes with inner and outer diameters of 12mm/16mm. Select an ant-friendly filling material. Assemble the side pieces and base part using adhesive. The top section fits slightly tighter; you can choose to attach it or leave it unglued. A straw maintains moisture levels within the colony; consider punching holes for ventilation. Alternatively, fill the void with cotton balls or similar materials.
