Clothes hook clicks into a metal fastener attached to the end of a fabric-covered rod on the wall of a closet or bedroom, and this triggers the movement of garments off a horizontal rod suspended beneath the one that has been pulled down. In other words, pressing the button makes it so clothes hang on the rack by being taken up off the floor with no extra human effort needed in order to retrieve them!
