Ant Bomb (spring loaded plastic ant disperser)
thingiverse
This is an office prank I used years ago, but it's been revived with the help of 3D printing technology. To make it work, you'll need a black plastic 35mm film container, a spring (the SP-9705 Handyman spring; 11mm X 54mm X 0.8mm is a good option), and two printed parts that hold the spring in place. These parts are designed to launch several dozen plastic ants and spiders when the film container is opened. You can see how it works by checking out the video, which also shows you how to load and use this prank effectively. It's perfect for adding some humor to your next picnic or as a joke for your coworker who's always cleaning up. Just load it up and walk away - the rest will take care of itself.
