Anova Sous Vide Cooler Mount

Anova Sous Vide Cooler Mount

I needed an insulated top to mount my Anova Sous Vide while cooking larger cuts for extended periods, so I grabbed a Sketchup model of a Coleman cooler to illustrate the concept, but you can use the template on any lid. My goal was to create a custom insulated lid for one of my coolers and cut the mounting hole and lid profile with my CNC router. Most cooler lids are not insulated unless you invest in more expensive coolers that charge $200 for this feature. So, any lid I make will be better than the one that came with the cooler. I printed a "test print" .stl first to ensure my printer was printing to scale, and it fit perfectly, so I proceeded to print the full model. The template can be printed and used for cutting with hand power tools. There are also .dxf and .svg files of the cutout template available for those who want to try digital machining. I chose to print it in PETG since it is a higher temperature food-safe plastic.
