Anova Precision Cooker mounting ring

This is a mount for the Anova Precision Cooker. All you need is a storage box with a lid. Cut out a hole from the lid, about 74mm in diameter, and attach the ring securely in place. My box is made of polypropylene, which makes it challenging to glue. I discovered that high-temperature hot melt works well, able to withstand sous vide temperatures without issue. Apply the adhesive underneath the flange and some extra underneath the lid for added security. Another benefit is that no steam or moisture gets sucked into the cooker. I've read stories about the Anova Precision Cooker getting damaged when used with an open container. Read the note on materials below. Happy sous vide cooking!
