Anova Precision Cooker Mount
thingiverse
Inspired by dkallback's design, I set out to enhance the original concept. Upon encountering several issues with the initial design, I initiated a redesign process. 1) Printing the flange with ABS revealed significant brittleness and layer delamination. In response, I created a thicker version of the flange. 2) The sharp thread edges proved difficult to print and were also notably fragile. To address these challenges, I developed a trapezoidal thread design and also conceived a rounded thread variation, similar to knuckled thread but with distinct characteristics. The nuts have been scaled up to 102%, aligning perfectly with my printer's capabilities. Users can adjust the scale in both x- and y-axis orientations as needed for optimal results.
