Anova Cooler Adapter - screw on version
thingiverse
So here's my thinking: the core piece passes through the cooler lid, and you print two collars to screw onto it from both sides to secure it. Because the core piece is longer and threaded, you can adjust how far into the cooler the Anova goes, making it adaptable for various size coolers. It's also removable. If you print a shorter copy of the core piece and fill it with insulating foam, you can create a separate "plug" to plug the hole on the cooler lid when you want to use it as a cooler. I suppose I could whip up an actual plug, but this is a good starting point. This will require a 2 7/8 inch hole. A 3 inch hole would work just fine since the collar flange is large enough to cover it and it's more than sufficient for its intended use.
