Another Shelf HeadPhone Hook
thingiverse
Initially, I overlooked installing hooks but later found that a 25mm shelf can fit from the back of the first hook. The second hook accommodates a 16mm shelf with its nub centered at a depth of 26mm. Interestingly, my desk originally had CD holder slots which I removed. This makes me ponder if today's kids born in 2013/14 will even comprehend music CDs, considering none of my devices have a CD/DVD player. Nonetheless, I may create the first hook design in OpenSCAD to allow adjustable shelf thickness. The hooks were printed using ABS and should be placed on their side. For the first hook, 10% infill is sufficient for strength. Surprisingly, no additional securing methods like double-sided tape were required even when the shelf was slightly away from the wall. The second hook doesn't need extra support since the nub holds it in place.
