I remixed the door handles to take advantage of 8mm disc magnets, which were readily available. The slots are designed for easy drop-in installation of either three 1mm magnets or one 3mm magnet. By doing so, I avoided the hassle and mess of attempting to pressure fit or glue them in place, a process that had previously been a disaster due to its imprecision and lack of straightness. This remix also reinforces the base, allowing for the recommended screws to be inset neatly. Additionally, it includes a matching stop for the top. The design is specifically tailored for use with 3mm plexiglass, as specified in the original plans.
