Another Potentiometer Knob
thingiverse
I made yet another potentiometer knob because I needed one to hide the apprentice marks around the pot I installed to control my LED's brightness and the other knobs out on thingiverse didn't quite work for me. This one has a 6mm hole for the shaft, but it only extends down 9mm from the cap so there is room to rotate around the nut holding holding the potentiometer in place. This effectively hides 100% of the mounting hardware while having a minimal profile to fit in a small place. I made it thin purposefully in order to save on material; I also like the open-air look, if you can call it that? If I'd made the wall thickness 0.2mm more it would have been completely solid, but I was working with some small locations so this is what worked for me. 18.4mm tall by 20.4mm OD, 18.6mm ID. Shaft hole is 9mm deep, 6mm ID, 7.5mm OD,
